Clean Up at Montara Field

PTTEP makes reference to its report of a fire incident in the Montara area, PTTEP's Australasia Project, which occurred on Sunday, November 1, 2009. The company announced today that it was able to bring the fire under control and the fire has ceased. Additionally, the oil and gas leak has successfully been stopped.

All personnel are safe with no injury. PTTEP will continue to monitor the situation closely and will launch a full investigation at the earliest possible date.
