Formed in 1968, the Company built its first rigs in the early 1970s and it continues to add new rigs to the fleet. Our newest jack-up, the Atwood Aurora, an enhanced Super 116 Class rig with increased operational capabilities, will be delivered in late 2008. A new deepwater moored ExD Millenium Design semisubmersible, capable of operating in up to 8,000 feet of water, has a target delivery date in in early 2011.
